The "Hogan Green" was created to link the new Safeguard Scientifics building to the original facility. A pond and waterfall are the focal points. The waterfall is surrounded by trees, flowering shrubs and perennials. The "Nittany Lion" stands guard. Benches are strategically placed on interlocking concrete pavers. A courtyard allows for outdoor events.

White Horse Village
Newtown Square, PA

White Horse Village is an 84-acre Continuing Care Retirement Community. Since 1992, E. G. Rall Jr. Landscape Design has maintained the grounds and provided landscape design and installation services. Highlights of our designs include a Sensory Garden, the planning and implementation of an arboretum, entrance design, and a native meadow.

Springside School Expansion
Chestnut Hill, PA

The project included a brick and Wissahickon Schist stone walkway and courtyard. The plantings are intended to provide interest throughout the school year, combining opportunities for scientific and artistic education with low maintenance requirements.

Brown Memorial
Skippack, PA

This project was built on the site of an existing township park. It features a sundial surrounded by a natural stone wall. The walking surface is a "red tipple" stone from local quarries. Edging the planting beds is a simulated cobblestone concrete product. The plantings consist of summer-blooming perennials, evergreens, meadow grasses and shade trees. The benches are permanently mounted.
